Cats Featured today Jessie, Maddy and Oscar.
All new faces at the cattery with the arrival of Lucky, Bonnie, Oscar, Jessie and Malibu. Some of these impossible to photograph due to either hiding or a bit too active. Will persist until I get them.
A cooler day today and everybody happy. Even Oscar that was a bit upset has relaxed now and eager to get cuddles.
Jessie is a divine 12 yo Birman, beautiful in body and nature.

Beautiful and calm
Maddy has moved to her valley view room and seems to be adjusting.

Lovely girl

Hello mum! Beatiful boy Hari.

Here comes trouble!
Frankie and Toby on a rare relaxed moment together without Toby running to hide. There were fisticuffs earlier on.

A couple of hot days but we got a breeze here in the hills, so all the cats enjoying the weather in their patios. We have a full house so we thought we’d show you a few of our guests. Our better camera is away on holidays with Bryce so these ones were taken with an ancient Kodak that can’t keep up with cat movements, the shutter is so slow.
Check out this interactive toy for cats it’s hilarious

Gypsy can’t pose, she needs to jump and come to get a cuddle, a beatiful Chinchilla cross with a lovely nature.

Any cuddles available? Gypsy
Marty won’t come out of hiding as long as there are humans around, so we had to go to him.

Leave me alone!Marty

We love this video of the song Black Cats by The Broken Hearts.
Talking about black cats, we discovered that Tiggy loves wardrobes, it took a while to find him when it was time for him to go back to his room after walkies : he had closed the door behind him.

Cat declawing now a crime in San Francisco
November 12, 2009 by templetons
Cats featured today Sonsha, Mikey, Fonzie and Mocha, Caesar and Shelley.
We were so happy to read this bit of news from the US, we are totally against cat declawing. Thanks to @plouffykitty for the link
Sonsha (and our cat Brooky) went to Animal Magic today to get their annual clipping for summer. Ragdolls are a northern hemisphere breed and our summer is too hot for them, so here she is sporting her new look.

I love my new look! Sonsha
Caesar said he wanted dinner in bed so we obliged.

Not getting up
Fonzie wreaking havoc in the shelves as usual

Everything has to come down!

Mocha is in there, this is the best we can do
Shelley a lovely Tortoiseshell won’t pose, so we have to get her while we can

Shelley is not too old for close-ups!
Mikey is doing really well. If only he was photogenic, he’s a handsome boy.

All is well mum!
