Trojan Bird

We had a sad week with news of the passing of two of our guests ( from different families). In both cases lovely cats with great personalities: Rennie and Mikie. They both had excellent lives and their parents did everything they could for them. Special thanks to Dr. Cruickshank from Gold Coast Veterinary Surgery for being there for Mikie.

On a happier note, Bailey and Gizmo might be going home next month if the purchase of a new house goes through. They were so excited to hear that!

We have a great group of cats staying at the moment so here they are.

Cat Fashion Parade at the Algonquin Hotel in New York

To celebrate their cat Matilda’s 15th birthday the Algonquin Hotel in NY organized a fashion parade as a fund-raiser. The intentions were good but we absolutely hate this kind of thing.

Tsubi arrived yesterday in a flight from the north and he was remarkably calm although he had to investigate everything. He went to bed early and he ate during the night.

Chloe has been coming to the cattery for a long time and only now she sometimes ventures out of her room.

Beautiful weather this weekend and we are slowly catching up with chores after our holiday.

Bub is more confident and we discovered that she is quite mischievous, climbing everywhere!

A very informative video about cats just in case you didn’t know it all.

Our cattery has reopened after undergoing renovations and we’re happy to announce that all went well.

Lakshmi, Bailey and Gizmo are back here and we welcomed two new customers: Bub and Razzle. The newbies a bit nervous but we’re sure they will feel better with time.
A cooler weather than we’ve been experiencing in the northern hemisphere, so all the pusses tucked in with their heat pads.

Our cattery is still undergoing renovations while we take a well earned holiday until the 27/08/10. These are the only felines that we’ve seen in the US so far, at the MGM Lion Habitat

Gizmo and Bailey went to the groomers and Bailey had to be clipped, so we made him a sweater and he seems to like it!
