A bit of sunshine today but it didn’t last. At least it’s not raining yet and every break gives the soil a chance to dry up a bit.

We loved this 1903 video of a couple of children playing with cats. Via the fabulous site The Retronaut.
The weather deteriorated again on Friday after a dry Australia Day. Rained very hard creating all sort of problems on the roads. All fine at the cattery, just very wet. Now mid-morning it seems to have calmed down a bit. Patios are open for a change.

Dreary, boring rain since last Sunday. We had to actually close the patios all day in the last two days because it was too wet. Pax and Gomez don’t seem to mind the rain and had to be towel dried a few times until we decided to close. All cats bored have taken to their beds. Some individual running sessions in the corridor and office, but it’s not the same as being able to be out. The BOM forecast says another few days of this, we all hope they’re wrong.

We liked this video of a puppy and very patient cat.
Quiet days at the cattery with everyone going back to work and school. The weather has been mixed, unstable and hot and some days with very high humidity.

Very pleased to see the sun shining this morning even if it’s for a short time, bad weather was announced for the rest of the week but maybe it won’t happen. We caught up with all the cat furniture and washing in general. The cats happier to feel that they can go out and sit in the sun for a change.
